American Life in the Oughts

As the great Jean Shepherd would say: "He's doing it for all of us".

The unfortunate thing is I suspect the thing is a hoax no matter how desperately so many of us here in the corporate data mills want to believe it's real. I wish I knew what sent him over the edge. I'm sure the court papers will talk about deaths in the family or chemical imbalances or a recent divorce or something like that.

The poor guy. He should've just taken the rest of the day off and gone on a woodchuck-killing spree or something. At least that might have given him dinner. Hey, hunting and harvesting can save you a few bucks which is important in today's world. Just ask the folks who founded this awesome political party.

I don't have a whole lot of commentary for all this stuff. I think it speaks for itself and represents 21st century American life better than anything I could come up with.

Fake. If you watch the second video, the one from the "cell phone", the keyboard completely misses the security guy. Then security guy grabs his head like it hurts.

This is a Sweetmeal Digestive Biscuit . It is the finest cracker I have ever eaten. I love it with either a bit of mild blue cheese (which unfortunately for me they only identify as "blue mould cheese" on the buffet) or on its own. Well, finally had some reindeer filet last night. Looks like beef, is tender like filet mignon but has a slightly stronger beefy flavor. Still, if I told you it was cow you'd probably believe it. Anniversary Day

Happy anniversary to my lovely wife. I like to think I've given her four of the happiest years of her life. Of course we were married on this date in 1990 so you can do the math on that one. But seriously folks....I'm very, very lucky to have her. I hope she's having as much fun as I am.
