Them Apples

 Apples are better cold.  Now that the weather's slowly warming I'm keeping my apples in the refrigerator.  They taste brigher, crisper, more awake, which is weird because cold usually mutes flavor. I wonder what Harold McGee thinks about this.

You know New Yorkers are a bit off their rocker about pizza when one of the first things to hit the dreaded blogosphere after their governor is implicated in a sex scandal is a bit on a foodie website saying, in essence, “ We shoulda known he was no good because his favorite pizza joint is upstate”. Anniversary Day

Happy anniversary to my lovely wife. I like to think I've given her four of the happiest years of her life. Of course we were married on this date in 1990 so you can do the math on that one. But seriously folks....I'm very, very lucky to have her. I hope she's having as much fun as I am.

Happy Hour on the Beer Tram

Tonight, we took the 7:30pm beer tram from Market Square. Nice to roll around the city inside a pub. The video screen at the front of the tram shows you where you're going. There it goes, off into the (not quite yet) sunset after last call. Farewell pub tram, thanks for the ride.
